Parrot tells owner that girlfriend is cheating on him with new lover

DEVASTATED Chris Taylor found his girlfriend was cheating on him after his parrot kept blurting out her new lover's name.
Ziggy screeched "Hiya, Gary" in Suzy Collins' voice every time her mobile rang.
And the African grey made long, sloppy kiss noises wherever he heard the name Gary on TV or radio.
Chris, 30, said: "I just dismissed it as something he'd picked up from the telly. I thought it was hilarious."
But the final straw came one night when Chris cuddled up to Suzy, 25, on the sofa and Ziggy mimicked Suzy and squawked "I love you, Gary".
Her face went beetroot, she burst into tears and confessed to a four-month fling with a former workmate.
Chris said: "I was devastated. Suzy left that night and I've not seen her since." But Chris has also been forced to give Ziggy away.
"I wasn't sorry to see the back of Suzy after what she did but it broke my heart to let Ziggy go," he said. "I love him to bits but it was torture hearing him repeat that name over and over again."
Chris, from Headingley, Leeds, added: "I know I'll get over Suzy but I don't think I'll ever get over Ziggy.
"It feels like someone's got it in for me because I've lost my girlfriend and my best mate at the same time. Ziggy was one in a million."
Chris named the parrot after David Bowie's alter-ego Ziggy Stardust and taught him to sing "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues".
He is now being cared for by a new owner. Suzy, who met Gary two and a half years ago and moved in with him a year ago, said yesterday she wasn't seeing him any more.
She added: "I'm not proud of what I did but I'm sure Chris would be the first to admit we'd been having problems.
"I'm surprised to hear he's got rid of that bloody bird.
"He spent more time talking to it than he did to me.
"I couldn't stand Ziggy and it looks now like the feeling was mutual.
